For over two decades Pat has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, Pat has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

Pat grew up in Western Montana and later went on to join the Navy. In his ten years of service he completed Nuclear Power training and was assigned to a fast-attack submarine, the USS Hammerhead (SSN 663), as a nuclear operator and ships scuba diver. He transferred to Naval Power Training Unit (NPTU) Idaho as an instructor for his final four years of Naval service and also completed his Bachelor’s Degree while stationed there. In 1994 he received an honorable discharge and went to work for the University of Chicago at Argonne National Lab’s EBR-2 reactor plant.

In 1999 Pat became a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Idaho Falls where he discovered his passion for investing and helping others. Developing his fundamental investment knowledge, he then joined Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as an independent advisor in 2008 where he provides personalized financial advice for individuals and families. Pat earned the CFP® certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements. Pat has been working with individual and corporate investors for over 20 years. He holds multiple professional designations and is registered to provide a wide variety of financial products and services.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Away from the office

Pat spends most of his time with his wife, Karren, and their son, Jack. They like to stay active both physically and mentally, whether it’s working out at the gym, bike riding, or hiking together. Pat has especially enjoyed learning guitar and is an active member within his church.
